Tweedle Farms, founded by Jason Evans, is the premier family-owned hemp farm in beautiful Jewell, Oregon. The farm specializes in growing some of the finest high CBD terpene-rich, hemp flowers in the country. The good folks at Tweedle Farms state they never use synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, or sprays on anything they produce.
Tweedle Farms clearly states the cannabinoid content on each of their products, as well as the third-party lab results. To be legal, hemp products must contain 0.3% THC or less. While their products have been tested to be 0.3% or less, Tweedle Farms can’t guarantee the legality of their products in all jurisdictions. They also can’t guarantee you’ll pass a drug test. So as with almost any industrial hemp product, after use at your own risk.
Everything Tweedle Farms produces is made of mature hemp flowers and buds. This means, you will need to decarboxylate the flowers and buds yourself to release the cannabinoids. Decarboxylation involves heating the herb. This can be achieved by smoking, or by placing the CBD buds and flowers in an oven set at 350 for 30 minutes.
Let’s Review Tweedle Farms’ Hemp Flower and Bud
The raw CBD flower and bud products offered by Tweedle Farms makes them a little bit different; most CBD companies sell CBD oils, cremes, and edibles. Tweedle Farms flowers and bud can be smoked, and you could experiment with making your own CBD oil, edibles and cremes.
Tweedle Farms has a total of 13 Hemp Flower products. These have included single strains such as Special Sause, Sapphire, Bast, and Cherry Wine. They also offer 4-strain mystery packs. The farm posts a new or restocked strain every weekday around noon PST.
The cost of the different strains varies from $6 to $9 per gram. For example, greenhouse-grown Lifter, has the following prices. This variety has is high in CBD with minimal THC.
1 Gram: $9
1/8 Ounce: $25
1/4 Ounce: $40
1/2 Ounce: $65
1 Ounce: $90
As you can see, these prices are very reasonable for such a high-quality product. Likewise, customers get a much better price when they purchase larger amounts. It can pay to buy the herb by the ounce if you want to save a lot of money.
Each variety they post for sale will have plenty of information. This includes the strain’s genetics, the terpene content, cannabinoid content, and general information on the buds, such as the scent and who grew it.
Example Information: Lifter is a cross of ERB and Suver Haze #50., grown by Fern Valley Farms. Lifter contains 18.46% CBDa and 0.07% THC. Lifter is a somewhat sativa-dominant hybrid. The dominant terpenes include humulene and myrcene. The Lifter strain has chunky and robust buds, with an earthy and creamy fragrance.
If you need more information on terpene or cannabinoid content, you simply click on the lab reports link with each strain. As an example, Lifter contained 0.05% CBG and 0.15% CBD. Each strain also has user reviews; there were more than 220 positive reviews posted for Lifter Strain. Customers raved about how this strain reduced their anxiety, produced a feeling of calm, and diminished their aches and pains.
Tweedle Farms Has Pre-Rolls
Tweedle Farms also makes very convenient pre-rolls. Each has a hefty gram of hemp flower. They offer pre-rolls in five strains: Otto & Cherry #4, Lifter, Otto Franklin, Elektra, and Kush Hemp. Otto Franklin is the least expensive at $7 each, while the other strains are prices at $8 each.
They also offer a discount when you purchase five at a time. The Otto Franklin pre-rolls are $25 for five, and the other strains are five for $30. Once again, Tweedle Farms provides complete information on each strain they use for the pre-rolls.
Tweedle Farms’ Trim, Shake and Small Buds
There aren’t as many different strains available in these options. Small Buds features Suver Haze and Cascade. For example, an ounce of Cascade is just $60.
Cascade is a cross between Ringo’s Gift, Harle Tsu, Sour Tsu, and Canna Tsu, and it’s an Indica-dominant hybrid. This strain has 13.4% CBDa with less than 0.02% THC. Cascade is grown on Tweedle Farms, and the pretty little nugs have the scent of sweet and sour hay. This strain has good resistance to gray mold.
The only strain available in Trim/Shake is Suver Haze. Suver Haze shake goes for $30 an ounce. It’s a great option for those on a tight budget. The reason why it’s so inexpensive is that it contains some leaf as well as flower. While the flower alone has as much as 19% CBDa, the trim/shake only has a max 15% CBDa content. Suver Haze is grown on Tweedle Farms.
